Pierre Valkering had his coming out as a priest and wrote a spicy book about it. Although the Netherlands are quite the liberal country, the catholic church specificatly in the Netherlands were a bit less amused since he didn't shy away from personal insights concerning his love for men and his not so celibate life. He was banned from doing anymore work as a priest and was forced to live in the vicar house not being welcome anymore in the connecting church or anywhere else.
